The company mission is not limited to the manufacturing of top quality lighting fixtures, it also means to study and understand light, make others understand it and improve the integration between light and architecture through industrial design. To this end some of the most famous lighting designers and architects in the world have cooperated with iGuzzini starting from its earlier years: Giò Ponti, Rodolfo Bonetto, Bruno Gecchelin, Renzo Piano, Richard Rogers, Norman Foster, Gae Aulenti, Piero Castiglioni, Jean Michel Wilmotte, just to mention some of them. The showroom for the company is located at the Business Design Centre in London, and this facility not only shows products, but also demonstrates basic lighting design concepts and portrays the basic fundamental elements of light. The showroom also houses SIVRA, the electric daylight fitting which can produce artificial light from any weather pattern around the world, i.e. grey winter days to sunny summer days. iGuzzini also has its national network of lighting project engineers who enable the organisation to assist with a myriad of differentiated lighting design projects for both the internal and external environment
